So we survived 2020. As a society, we had a pandemic and a racial justice reckoning. Personally, I had a mental health reckoning. In this issue, we talk through those things: mental health during the pandemic; the distrust about the vaccine; the looming housing crisis.


Yet, we will also talk about the light stuff: Black love during these unprecedented times; Black art; Black business. Finally, we will say a final goodbye to angels we lost like Chadwick Boseman, Cicely Tyson, and Kobe Bryant.
